Silver Oval Mjolnir Hammer Pendant (Viking Jewellery)

Nordic symbol, 30cm x 40cm, made from solid pewter and antique silver plated, two-sided design

Mjolnir (meaning controversial, possibly "Maulers", "flash" or "brilliant flash gun") is called in the Teutonic mythology, a hammer, a magical weapon of the god Thor, with these enemies of the gods, especially the Thursen (Giant) and the Midgard serpent the hammer fought. Snorri Sturluson relates in his Snorra-Edda (in the Skáldskaparmál) of the creation of the hammer Mjolnir (also known as Uru Hammer) saying it was forged by the two dwarves Sindri and Brokk from Uru-ore and has the property that, if he is thrown, never misses its target and returns to the thrower's hand. In addition, it can be done only by Thor.

Generally worn for protection and empowerment.
Supplied with a thin (2mm) neck cord of at least 20inch to tie yourself.
