Ancient Greek Goddess, 35 x 35 mm, Antique brass-finish, two-sided design Medusa is the name of two figures of Greek mythology. The first is one of the three, four, or seven Hesperides, who guarded the golden apples. The second, far more familiar, in the wake of the speech here was a gorgon, the daughter of the sea gods Phorkys and Keto, and the sister of Stheno and Euryale. She was the only mortal of the three Gorgons. Originally, Medusa was as beautiful as Pallas Athene. However, she was turned into a winged monster with snake hair, long canine teeth, a scale armor, glowing eyes and tongue hanging out.
It is worn traditionally for all purpose protection against all things. Supplied with a thin (2mm) neck cord of at least 20inch to tie yourself.
